Is tithing for us today?

Inspired by the claim that the rest of us Richmond preachers are wrong for teaching that believers are supposed to tithe today, I wanted to give believers at least one New Testament scripture to back it, Levi also, who receiveth tithes, paid tithes through Abraham – Heb. 7:9. One listener did call in, but he couldn’t satisfy the challenge of the radio preacher to find one scripture in the New Testament to validate that tithing was still in affect today. (He made reference to a scripture, but he couldn’t give the reference! Isn’t that how the devil usually gets us, on a technicality?) The listener’s inability to answer the challenge seemed somehow to validate, to the radio preacher, that tithing was not for us today, but did that really give substance to his claim?
Pleasures Forever More!

Recently, after studying on being established in Righteousness, a phrase from a song was playing in my spirit – "At thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore." (Ps 16:11) We talk about the "In His presence is the fullness of joy" part of that scripture, but not much is said about at His right hand!
God said, "At thy right hand there are pleasures forever more!" Obviously being the peculiar people that we are, we don't take pleasure in the same things that the world does:
…choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life. Luke 8:14
… lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God. 2 Tim 3:4
… than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season. Heb 11:25
